Dec 05 to Dec 29 A display featuring a quilt created in celebration of literacy. The quilt is made up of 56 blocks from 54 Canadian, American and European authors and illustrators. Participating authors and illustrators include David Bouchard, Robert Munsch, Brenda Clark and Bill Slavin to name just a few. Corrine was inspired to do this quilt after reading an article that talked about a variety of ways to use quilts in school.
Corrine Bantle learned the art of patchwork quilting from her grandmother. She is an avid quilter. She joined the Prince Albert Quilt Guild in 2002 and was Presidnet from 2005 to 2007. Corrine is a Library Technician at Saskatchewan Rivers School Division #119 in Prince Albert.

Day time Events kick off at Kinsmen Park at noon. Entertainment begins at 12:30; the Parade of Colors enters approx 12:45 and Opening Ceremonies at 1pm.
